Well now that school is done and I have some extra time on my hands, I have decided to pick up a new hobby. I have done a lot of artsy things in my life such as, singing, drawing, dancing and decorating. Now I am trying my hand at photography. Here is some of my first attempts.

Believe it or not Penny was a way easier model to work with than my parents!! The parents couldn't stop goofing around! Luckily I was able to steal a few shots of them. Let me know what you think of my pictures.. Honest opinions are welcome!

FIND A PENNY PICK IT UP...

Well after months and months of begging and pleading I got my little puppy. Alan has been so excepting of the idea of a puppy and has been a great daddy to our little 6 week old puppy. So let me tell you a little bit about it.

Breed: Australian Shepherd/ Red Heeler mix

DOB: February 22, 2010

I love her so much and I can already tell she is going to be a well behaved dog. She is affectionate and loyal. Wish us luck on potty training days!!

WHILE PONDERING

Have you ever asked yourself.. why me? Why is this happening to me? Why is life so hard? Why am I being faced with so much at one time? I will admit, I have had those moments, those moments where I feel as if one more thing happens I am going to break.

I was sitting here pondering these old thoughts and feelings. Now that I am out of the darkness and having the time of my life...how did I get here? Where did those negative feelings go?

While pondering I couldn't stop thinking about how I was blessed with an amazing husband, who is my very best friend. He listens to me, tells me I look good when I haven't even gotten ready for the day and holds me and tells me everything is going to be alright. I always wanted a man like this in my life, but never thought one truly existed. Well here I am proving myself wrong. I never thought I would be able to just sit around and do nothing with someone but still be having the time of my life. Alan is someone that has a kind heart, is loving and intellegent.

When I found out that my dad was being diagnosed with a fatal cancer (almost 2 years ago, but still surving!) and that he only had a few months to live; alan was there for me. He took the day off of work and spent it trying to cheer me up. And as we have continued on this path together I have been faced with other situations that I thought were the end of my world, and alan was there to pick up the pieces and tell me everything was going to be alright.

I hope to one day to feel worthly of Alan's love. He is unbelievably sweet and generous. And I want to take this time to wish him a Happy Valentine's Day! I am "4-ever yours"!

THE FUTURE

Hello 2010! We left a lot back in 2009, such as our biggest adventure so far, our wedding! Next up? Who knows! That is the great part about a new year, I get to look forward to new adventures with my amazing husband. A few things to look forward to, my 24th birthday (one year older and wiser too!), my first cruise with my husband and friends and my brothers return from his mission in Switzerland. There are a few other things, but I will wait until a later date in my blog to share them with you.
A few goals that I have established for myself are, the usual dieting, exercising and trying to be an over all better person. Hopefully I am able to reach some sort of accomplishment through out the year.
The reason for the dieting is mainly because of our up coming cruise. I have never been on one, but if the Caribbean is anything like Mexico, I am going to find much comfort in my swimmingsuit. And that adds a lot of pressure. This is my first entry of the New Year, and look forward to telling you about all my fun adventures of the future!

CHRISTMAS TIME

Well we did it! Alan and I moved into our new home this monday. It was quite an event, because we were under the impression we had till wednesday. Anyways, we had to do it sooner or later, so we did it sooner. Since we got done last night Alan and I put up our Christmas decorations together. This is my second Christmas with Alan, but our first Christmas as husband and wife. Which is super fun because this past weekend we celebrated our 6 month mark!! WOOHOO! So here is a picture of our spectacular tree we put up last night!
