16 MONTHS

Greyson has reached the grand age of 16 months! And he is quite the stud and lets his mommy take his picture all the time. Here are some of the pics he let me get away with today!

ALAN IS 30!!

Something BIG has happened! My husband has turned 30! So for his birthday celebration we(my parents and us) went to DISNEYLAND...

The first day we picked up Alan from the airport and went straight to the park. We took Greyson to meet Minnie Mouse, which he about freaked out! He went running to her and just couldn't get enough. Why doesn't my son do that when I walk in the room?

Another fun thing we did that day, was go to the petting zoo... I had no idea that Disney had a petting zoo. Grey and daddy really enjoyed that!

The next day, we did whatever Alan wanted to do. So obviously we went to the beach!!!! It was grey and daddy's first time playing in the ocean together.

We ate at Pinks Hotdogs, which is an L.A. must when we are visiting. And we hit up Grauman Chinese Theater near by.

The last day there was Alan's actual birthday and we went to Disneyland again, but for a fun surprise his brother Danny and his wife Melanie met up with us. They had their adorable son Evan with them, who is the exact same age as Greyson.

HELLO WORLD!

It has been 8 months since I last posted and a lot has happened since then. First I should start with Greyson, and what is new with that little man! 

He is now 15 months old, and here are a list of things about him. He walks, sings, dances, plays, talks (he says phrases like, "uh-oh", "hello momma/dadda", "let's go!!", etc.) and is the snuggliest kid ever! The biggest news about Grey, besides that he turned 1 this year, is that he is going to be a BIG BROTHER!

Alan and I are expected our second little boy this Thanksgiving. It is amazing that we have been blessed with these boys. I am just as anxious to meet this baby as I was Greyson. Lets hope that it's not to much longer. I will be posting again soon, because Alan turns the BIG 3-0!! So I will let you know how his birthday celebrations go.

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

I love the Christmas spirit that is around this time of year. It was even more prevalent this year due to our new addition, Greyson. He was so good even though he skipped many naps and went to bed super late, since the celebration was to exciting too miss. Greyson is quite the party animal! Another fun journey was finding out whether Santa was "friend" or "foe". Looks like friend!
He also has been learning the art of crawling......more like rocking. I don't know how set he is on learning to crawl. For all I know he might end up skipping it altogether. Still he knows to ham it up when mommy has the camera out!

Though this year has come to an end, the memories we have accrued will never be forgotten. Mommy and Daddy are sure blessed to have little Greyson in their lives.

FAMILY UPDATE 4 FALL

This year just keeps getting better and better. A big smile just swept across my face as I uttered those words! I mean life always has its ups and downs, but lately I don't seem to notice the downs as much. First I will tell you that Greyson and I went to Disneyland. We went with my parents, they were kind enough to take Grey and me.


And after a great vacation, we celebrated my favorite holiday.....HALLOWEEN! Greyson was the Iconic Batman. I was a clown. Which I find to be very odd, since I am deathly afraid of clowns in general. Anyways here we are looking cute with my brother, who we call "Duncle".


Also, I love this time of year not only for the Holidays it produces, but for the beautiful atmosphere it creates. So I had us take family pictures. I think they turned out pretty stinking cute. And boy did I find it hard to take pictures of myself. Thank goodness for timers and tripods!!

SUMMA TIME

This has been a great summer, which is mostly due to the fact that we have the cutest little addition. His name of course is Greyson. He is now 4 months!!


And for only being 4 months, he is quite the world traveler. Ok, more like USA traveler. Our first grand adventure this summer was Yellowstone with our good friends Mitch and Trissy Arquette. It was so fun! From the geysers to the taffy, it was a blast! We saw a grizzly bear and I consider it the highlight of the trip....and the late nights playing CLUE!

After a relaxing and beautiful trip to Yellowstone we headed East to Florida! We went with the Moore family to Disney World. The humidity almost drowned us!! Luckily the parks were so much fun we made it through each day. Even little Grey, who was able to ride some of the attractions. Greyson's first ride was Pirates of the Caribbean.


After an adventurous and thrilling vacation we made our way down to Arizona. It was the weekend of Danny and Melanie's baby blessing for their son Evan. Congratulations! While we were down there we stayed with our good friends Andy and Bri Bergeson. Many nights of great food, Canasta and swimming! Grey loved the pool and we wish we were still there with them!


We can't wait for what the holiday season has in-store for the Wilbur clan, but I will tell you it's gonna be awesome when you share the company of little Greyson.

8 1/2 MONTHS PREGNANT

Here we are! The last days of just being Alan & Whitney. I have been trying to decide what should we be doing with these last days before the big bundle of joy enters our family, but then it hit me. It's like he is already here with us. We talk to him, constantly prepare our home for him and discuss what we think we should be doing as future parents.

I honestly can't wait to meet the little guy. Patience is not one of my strong suits, but I am making great efforts to not become too impatient. Besides the fact that I have reached the point of being unbelievably uncomfortable 24/7! If it's not one thing it's another. Lying on my side used to be a relaxing time, but no longer. One thing I do enjoy is eating! Oh boy do I love eating!! Hopefully this diet I am on will not linger once the baby is born. I mean eating something almost every 2 hours is a bit extreme, I say!

Next time I am posting I hope to be debuting the cute little boy that is our son. Until then, please cross your fingers that I don't go crazy from the pain! haha!

8. Alan hiked safely to the top of Mount Olympus
(in the snow and ice)
9. I survived Pneumonia.
10. I get to spend my life with my best friend Alan!

IT'S A BOY!!!

It is true! Alan and I are having a little baby boy! It is quite exciting and to be honest...... I really wanted a boy.

So far, the Dr. says on paper the baby is perfect. What a relief! At this point in the pregnancy I am 5 months along and they baby is weighing in at 1 lb 5 oz.

About 3 weeks ago, my belly just started poking out! And the touchy feely people have sure made themselves known. I honestly don't know why people don't understand that by touching my belly the baby cannot feel you. When you are touching me, you are simply touching me and me alone! Now, if you ask to feel the baby kick, that is totally understandable. Only reason being.... you asked first. Being polite about invading a pregnant woman's space is very important. We are already very uncomfortable and irritable, the last thing we need is uninvited groping.

I would like to end this post by thanking everyone for the sweet things they gave us this holiday season to help us prepare for the arrival of our baby boy. Like, the crocheted baby booties from grandma & grandpa Wilbur, the stroller and car seat from grandma and grandpa Moore, and for the cute baby clothes from by cute husband(who by the way is going to be the best daddy ever)!

HEART BEATING

This is a video of the baby's heart beat!!! It was quite a momentous occasion!
I also saw the baby wiggle and turn over during the ultrasound.

Our next visit to the Dr.'s will be even bigger, we will be finding out whether we are having a boy or a girl!!! Stay tuned and you will find out with us in just a few weeks.

FIRST COMES LOVE, THEN COMES MARRIAGE, THEN COMES......

The baby in the baby carriage!!!

It is true Alan and I are due to have a baby on April 29th, 2011. At times it doesn't feel like I am really pregnant, other days I can feel the pain! haha! Overall, it has been quite an experience and I am constantly surprised by the miracle of life.

Right now I am onto my 13 week of pregnancy, the last week of my 1st trimester. This is what the baby supposedly looks like at this time.

Our baby measures at a little over 3 inches now. Hold up your pointer finger, just imagine there is a miniature baby in my tummy about that length. CRAZY!! Also, last Dr.'s visit Alan and I were able to see out babies heart beating in the monitor. It still didn't sink in until after we had left the Dr.'s that I had a living thing growing inside of me. I will continue to give updates on our journey to becoming parents.

Did I just say PARENTS! Wow, that might be the most intense word ever, but also the most rewarding.

Oh my goodness! I do not do well with change! Well change that has to do with my puppy Penny. I remember when she was tiny and small. Now I have a fox for a puppy!! Don't get me wrong she is the prettiest puppy ever, but I loved when she was tiny and she would snuggle herself on my chest right under my chin. Also, her floppy ears are gone! How could she do something like that to me! Still I love her all the same! I just wish she could be a puppy forever!

Well now that school is done and I have some extra time on my hands, I have decided to pick up a new hobby. I have done a lot of artsy things in my life such as, singing, drawing, dancing and decorating. Now I am trying my hand at photography. Here is some of my first attempts.

Believe it or not Penny was a way easier model to work with than my parents!! The parents couldn't stop goofing around! Luckily I was able to steal a few shots of them. Let me know what you think of my pictures.. Honest opinions are welcome!
